Terms and conditions

The products of the online store are sold by Maypoint under the business ID 2469800-1 (Vat FI24698001) to companies and individuals of legal age. Product prices include VAT. We reserve the right to change prices and postage.

Products are ordered from ellukauppa.net through the shopping cart. All orders will be confirmed by e-mail, indicating the amount of the order, the delivery costs and the products ordered. Registered customers can also check the content of their order via their user account.

When placing an order, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions in force.

Products and their delivery costs are paid at the time of ordering. The following payment methods are available in the online shop:

  • Payment buttons for all Finnish banks
  • Credit cards
  • Mobile payments (Pivo, Siirto and MobilePay)
  • Invoice and part payment (Jousto, OP-lasku and Collector/Walley)
  • Invoices and part payments for businesses (Collector/Walley Business Invoice and Alisa Business Invoice)
  • Bank transfer/prepayment

To get the volume discount, add at least four products to your shopping cart. The volume discount does not apply to gift cards.

The delivery time depends on the stock status of the ordered product and will be indicated in each product page, at the checkout and on the order confirmation. There are two options:

  • products in stock are dispatched on the same or the next working day
  • products that are not in stock will be dispatched within 2-8 working days.

We deliver all the products included in the order at once. An automatic message is sent to the customer when the order is completed. The order will be delivered by the delivery method chosen by the customer to the chosen location. Delivery costs and options are shown on the shopping cart and checkout page.

The online shop has the following delivery methods in Finland:
  • Matkahuolto Near parcel and Matkahuolto Parcel Point (delivered to the selected Matkahuolto pick-up point) 5,90 €. Arrive within 1-3 working days of dispatch.
  • Postal parcel (delivered to the selected Post Office) 5,90 €. Arrive within 1-3 working days of dispatch.
  • SmartPOST parcel (delivered to the selected parcel locker) 5,90 €. Arrive within 1-3 working days of dispatch.
  • Matkahuolto Home delivery 12,95 €. You can also choose a business or a hairdressing salon. Arrive within 1-3 working days of dispatch.
  • Posti Home Delivery 13,95 €. You can also choose a business or a hairdressing salon. Arrive within 1-3 working days of dispatch.

Parcel locker deliveries may end up at a different pick-up point than the one you selected. This can happen if there is no room in the parcel locker for your parcel.

The checkout will suggest the nearest pick-up points based on the address you provide. The limit for free delivery is 59 € in Finland. Does not apply to home deliveries.

The storage time of the parcel depends on the delivery method; Posti returns the parcel after one week and Matkahuolto after 14 days.

The customer has a 14-day right of exchange and return under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. The right of return applies only to unused and saleable products in their original packaging. Returns and cancellations must be reported to Ellukauppa’s customer service, after which you will receive return instructions. Attach the following information on paper to the parcel with the return:

  • Your order number, your name, address and telephone number, the date of receipt of your order and the date.

Returns are subject to a charge to the customer.

Failure to pick up your order is not a cancellation. Uncollected parcels will result in significant costs for the shop. By law (1211/2013), we reserve the right to charge the customer for the costs incurred if the delivered parcels are returned to us uncollected. For costs related to deliveries that are not picked up at the place of destination, we charge a fee of 15 €, which includes delivery costs, return costs and handling costs.

Refunds will be processed as soon as the products have been returned to the merchant and their sales condition has been checked. The refund will be made by the same method of payment used to place the order.

If the product is lost during transport, damaged or the wrong product has been delivered to the customer, the customer must immediately report the error to Ellukauppa’s customer service. If the parcel is damaged during transport by Posti or Matkahuolto, a complaint must be made to the carrier.

For safety reasons, ingredients and instructions for use, the professional products in our range are intended only for professionals and users trained in their use. We accept no liability for any misuse of these products or any damage caused to the end user.

We also deliver to all EU countries. Orders are delivered as parcels. Each shipment is assigned a tracking code, which allows you to monitor the progress of the delivery.

We reserve the right to change our terms of delivery. Before placing an order, the customer must read the terms and conditions of delivery in force at the time.


Payment methods

The payment service is provided by Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj appears as the recipient of the payment on the bank statement or card invoice and forwards the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Plc holds a payment institution licence. In the event of a complaint, please contact the supplier of the product in the first instance.

Payment with bank buttons

You have access to the payment buttons of all Finnish banks. You can pay using the payment buttons of Aktia, Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Oma Säästöpankki, Osuuspankki, POP-pankki, Säästöpankki, S-pankki and Ålandsbanken. Your statement will show Paytrail Oyj as the payee, we will forward your payment to the online merchant. From the online shop, you will be redirected directly to your bank to make a secure payment.


Payment by card

You can pay online with Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Debit MasterCard and American Express cards. The online shop uses the international Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode and American Express SafeKey authentication services.

Paytrail Oyj appears as the recipient of the payment on the card invoice and forwards the payment card payment made by the customer directly to the merchant. Card payments are made securely using a secure payment form, and no payment card details are stored in the e-commerce systems.


Mobile payment methods

Mobile payment methods Pivo, MobilePay and Siirto are in-app services that allow you to pay for online purchases by credit transfer from your account or by card payment from your card by accepting a payment in that app.

Pivo also supports Siirto payments, allowing you to accept a payment in any application that supports Siirto. Apple Pay is a service on your Apple device that lets you pay for purchases using the payment card attached to your device.

Invoice and instalment payments

Invoice and instalment services through Paytrail are offered by OP-lasku, Walley and Jousto, as well as Alisa Yrityslasku, which is exclusively for businesses. Walley and OP also offer an invoice and instalment option for business customers.

Please read the more detailed terms and conditions for each financial company, which you will see when you accept the payment. When you accept a payment, you also accept the terms and conditions of the finance company.

Walley Invoice/Installment

An invoice and an account credit give you more time to pay for your online purchases. Using them, you can wait for your order to arrive before paying for it. You can either pay all at once by invoice or in smaller instalments with an overdraft, allowing you to pay the amount that suits you best each month, spread over a period of up to 36 months.

The invoice always gives you 30 days interest-free payment for your online purchases. The long payment period allows you to check your purchase and, if necessary, return it before the invoice is due.

To take advantage of the payment period, you need a positive credit decision, which is easy to apply for at the time of purchase. You can apply if you are at least 18 years old and have a Finnish personal identity code and a permanent, official home address in Finland. Your credit history will also be checked against Bisnode Finland Oy’s register.

Once you have received a positive credit decision and confirmed your purchase, you will receive an invoice for your purchase by email. If you want to pay your bill in smaller instalments and with a payment period that suits you better (1-36 months), you should enter into a revolving credit agreement with Norion Bank AB by logging in to my.walley.fi. When you sign a credit agreement, you will be granted a credit limit, which will be available for future purchases in accordance with the terms and conditions of the credit.

If you have a valid credit agreement, you only have to pay the minimum amount stated on the invoice you receive by the due date, but you can pay more if you wish. You will then receive a monthly statement by email until the credit is paid in full. If you wish, you can also reduce your credit in instalments above the minimum amount stated on your statement.

Cost of credit and example of credit: The promotional conditions apply to the online shop, with an overdraft interest rate of 19.2% expressed as a nominal annual interest rate and a monthly fee of 2,95 € per month (3,80 € on the first invoice). If the credit limit granted is 1 000 € and it is used in full for purchases made in the Ellukauppa online shop and the credit is repaid within 36 months, the annual percentage rate of charge is 28.6%, the total cost of the credit is 403 €, the total amount to be paid is 1 403 € and the number of instalments is 36. Late payments will be subject to the statutory reminder fees and collection costs, as well as interest for the delayed period.

Alisa Business Invoice

Purchasing with Alisa Business Invoice is possible with just contact information and strong authentication. We only need to be able to verify the link between the buyer and the company they represent. To use the payment method, you must have a Finnish business ID and the online banking details of a Finnish bank. The buyer’s right to buy is digitally verified. For this purpose, we recommend that the buyer uses the telephone number and email address provided by the company when making the purchase.

The invoice will be sent by Alisa Business Invoice primarily as an e-invoice, but e-mail and paper invoices are also possible. The official e-invoicing addresses of companies are already known, making it easy to choose a billing address. The processing of the purchase invoice is designed to be as smooth as possible for the buyer and the buyer can add the reference information needed to allocate the invoice to the invoice.

Alisa Business Invoice offers three different payment periods: 14 days, 30 days and 60 days. The billing surcharge varies depending on the selected payment period: 14 days 9,90 €, 30 days 19,90 € and 60 days 29,90 €. The credit limit for Alisa Business Invoice is 5000 €.

Bank transfer/prepayment

Payment directly to the merchant’s bank account. Payment details will be sent to the email address you provide. Your order will not be processed until the total amount of your order appears in our account. If we do not receive an advance payment to our account within two weeks of the order date, the order will be cancelled. We will not deliver orders until the full amount of the order has been paid into our account.
