Ellukauppa.net data register.
3. Purpose of data processing
Personal data is used to carry out payment service orders as defined in the Payment Services Act, to develop the service provided by the Online Store, and to carry out statistical and market research. The information may also be used to target marketing to Customers. The customer has the right to forbid marketing directed at him/her. The processing of personal data is based on Section 8 of the Personal Data Act.
4. Content of the register
Payment and identification details. Payment and identification data are transmitted in encrypted form to the financial institution. Together with the payment data, the name, address, e-mail address, telephone number and product information of the customer are stored in the data register.
5. Regular sources of information
The Customer’s data is primarily obtained from the Customer or from the systems of the seller of the services or products together with the order data when the Customer proceeds with the payment transaction. By making a payment transaction, the Customer consents to the use of his/her data for the purposes set out in section 4 of this Privacy Policy.
6. Regular disclosures and transfers of data outside the EU or EEA
Information may be disclosed to the authorities in cases required by law and to companies within the same group to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, data may be transferred outside the EU or the European Economic Area. Customer contact information (name, address, phone number) stored in the register may be provided to the seller of services or products if the Customer wishes to speed up the purchase process in the seller’s system by collecting the contact information pre-filled on the order form. By logging in to the payment service e.g. with your personal username and password, you agree to the disclosure of your contact details.
7. Principles of protection, data stored in information systems
Data is properly protected electronically and physical access is restricted and controlled. Access to the register is restricted and each user of the register has a personal username and password. Ellukauppa’s staff and external persons acting on behalf of Ellukauppa have a duty of confidentiality in relation to all customer information.
8. Right of access
The data subject has the right to check what information concerning him or her has been recorded in the register. The request for inspection must be sent in writing, signed and addressed to the person responsible for the register. A request for an inspection can be made free of charge once a year.
9. Right of rectification
The data of the data subject is stored per payment order and is not updated during the payment order. To correct the information, the data subject should contact the person responsible for the register.
